Leatherback sea turtles are the biggest turtles in the world! These reptilian giants are named for their unique shells composed of a layer of thin rubbery skin, strengthened by thousands of tiny bone plates that makes it look leathery.

As baby hatchlings emerge from the nest, they need to move quickly to avoid predators. Hand drawn by an artist, this stunning design portrays the beginning of life as these little cuties try and make their way to the ocean.
